About Me
My journey into visual storytelling began over 27 years ago in the world of graphic designing. Long before Veenamangala Studios existed, I was already training my eye to understand composition, color, balance, and how a single visual can communicate an entire emotion. That discipline, built over nearly three decades, became the foundation for everything my studio stands for today.
What started as a passion for design slowly evolved into a deeper calling: photography and videography. I saw an opportunity to bring the same precision and artistic sensibility I had built in design into capturing real moments, weddings, pre-wedding shoots, maternity sessions, and family milestones. Veenamangala Studios was born out of that transition, combining decades of visual expertise with a genuine love for documenting people’s most meaningful days.
Today, my studio is known across Mangaluru and Karnataka for a style that blends candid honesty with cinematic polish. Every wedding, every pre-wedding shoot, every baby shower session is approached the same way a designer approaches a blank canvas: with intention, with care, and with an eye trained over 27 years to know exactly what makes a moment worth keeping.
My Philosophy
I believe photography should never feel like a performance. My approach is simple: show up prepared, blend into the moment, and let real emotions lead the frame. Whether it is the quiet nervousness before a wedding ceremony or the joy of a baby shower, my team and I are there to capture it exactly as it happened, not as a staged recreation of it.
This philosophy, shaped by years of design training and creative practice, is what separates a photograph that documents an event from one that tells a story.
Community and Civic Leadership
My work extends well beyond the studio. I currently serve as a Corporator representing 54 Ward Jeppinamogar in Mangaluru, a role through which I work directly on civic development and community welfare in my ward.
My involvement extends across several organizations that reflect my commitment to service and collaboration. I serve as the Chairman of the Pattana Yojana Works Committee, overseeing planning and development initiatives for the town. I also hold the position of Vice President at Dharmasthala Swasahaya Sangha, an organization focused on self reliance and community upliftment.
I am an active member of BNI (Business Network International), where I connect with fellow entrepreneurs and professionals to support local business growth, and I am also a proud member of the Lions Club, contributing to its ongoing community service initiatives.
This blend of creative work and civic responsibility is not a coincidence to me. Both are driven by the same underlying value: showing up for people, whether it is behind a camera or in service of the community I call home.
